onic detonation in a briefcase: the SOLDANO ASTROVERB 16. This 16-watt single channel dynamo packs the soulful crunch of its SOLDANO predecessors into a 1x12 combo. And, yes, like its SOLDANO brethren, this amp jacks to 11!
The ASTROVERB 16 enjoys a far greater range of gain than most amps in its class. Its tonal character stretches from glassy clean to gritty edge to modern high-gain grind through adjusting the Volume and Preamp Gain Controls. This is a screamin’ little amp with a big, big sound.
All versions of the ASTROVERB 16 have two speaker jacks, which allow you to use multiple cabinets. Controls include Preamp Gain, Master Volume, Reverb, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence. As with all SOLDANO reverb amps, the ASTROVERB gets its twang from a true spring reverb tank. This pint-sized SOLDANO lends itself brilliantly to studio work. It really shines in its ability to capture ballsy blues crunch and ripping metal overdrive—a longtime Soldano trademark.
The ASTROVERB 16 is available as a compact head, a 1x12 combo, or as a 2x12 combo.
